Parallel blade shearing machine
The two blades of the parallel blade shearing machine are parallel to each other. It is usually used to shear square and rectangular cross-section steel billets horizontally in the hot state. It can also be used to cold shear profiles, and the blades are made into forming blades to shear non-rectangular cross-section rolled products.
Parallel blade shearing machines are divided into two types: upper cutting type and lower cutting type according to the movement characteristics of the shearing mechanism.
The lower blade of the upper cutting shearing machine is fixed; the shearing is performed by the up and down movement of the upper blade. Its shearing mechanism usually adopts: crank connecting rod mechanism.
Both blades of the lower cutting shearing machine move, and the shearing process is achieved by the rise of the lower blade. Its shearing mechanism usually has eccentric shaft type and floating type.
The maximum shearing force that the parallel blade shearing machine can withstand during operation is its main parameter, so people usually name it by the maximum shearing force.
Bevel blade shears
One of the shear blades of a bevel blade shear is placed at an angle relative to the other shear blade. Bevel blade shears can also be divided into upper cutting type, lower cutting type and compound type according to the movement characteristics of the shearing mechanism.
Upper-cutting bevel blade shear
The lower blade of this shear is straight and fixed, and the upper blade is inclined and moves up and down to achieve shearing. Upper-cutting bevel blade shears are usually used as a separate device to shear wide plates. When the plate thickness is greater than 20 mm, it can be used to cross-cut the plate on a continuous production line, but a swing roller is required. In addition, when the plate thickness is greater than 25 mm and the disc cannot be used to shear the edge, upper-cutting bevel blade shears are set on both sides of the continuous production line for edge cutting.
Down-cutting inclined blade shear
The upper blade of this shear is fixed, and the lower blade moves up and down to shear. Since the lower blade moves upward to shear, there is no need to set up an oscillating roller. It is generally used for cross-cutting strips on continuous production lines. The upper blade of this shear is usually inclined, and the lower blade is horizontal. However, recently, the upper blade is horizontal and the lower blade is inclined. Production experience has proved that this type can ensure the verticality of the shearing surface relative to the center line and surface of the strip. Its disadvantage is that the pressure plate must be placed below, which makes the structure complicated.
Compound oblique blade shear
At the end of the continuous production line, a compound oblique blade shear is installed to separate the long strips welded together into coils of a certain weight. This shear has a fixed double-edged knife holder in the middle and movable knife holders above and below, also known as an upper and lower double-layer oblique blade shear. When the strip passes through the upper part of the fixed double-edged knife holder, the strip is coiled by the No. 1 coiler. When it is necessary to split the strip, the upper movable knife holder descends to cut the strip, and the strip behind passes through the lower part of the fixed double-edged knife holder and is coiled by another coiler.
Disc shear
The upper and lower shear blades of this type of shear are disc-shaped. When shearing, the disc knife moves in a circle at a speed equal to the moving speed of the rolled piece, forming a pair of scissors with no end points. The disc shear is usually set on the shearing line of the plate or strip to cut the moving plate or strip longitudinally.
